Valley View’s Kids' Ministry seeks to serve kids and their families by providing Bible-based, age-appropriate learning opportunities and activities. We want to support families in their role to teach and nurture their children to know God and choose to follow Him at the appropriate age. We desire to provide meaningful opportunities at church for children to learn about the Bible, who Jesus is, and what it means to be a Christian.

Sunday schedule
Wednesday Schedule
We are excited to have your child with us at Valley View Church! We strive to provide fun, meaningful, age-appropriate Bible learning experiences in our elementary life groups. These age-graded Bible learning classes are provided at 9:30am. Elementary life groups are taught by permanent volunteers. Elementary classes are located throughout our children's wing on the second floor. At 11:00am, our elementary kids attend KIDZONE, a high energy, interactive worship and learning time. Preschool classes for birth-age 4 are provided during life group and worship time.
Awana is a club for children ages 3 years to 5th grade where they learn God’s Word and hang out with other children. Awana meets every Wednesday during the school year from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Our Cubbies (ages 3-4) enjoy story time, puppet shows, playtime, snack time and handbook time. Our Sparks (K-2nd) and T&T (3-5th) clubs enjoy opening ceremony, large group time, handbook time, and of course GAME time!!! All the clubs have a great time learning God’s Word, storing it in their hearts, and fellowship with others their age. Click Here for more information. Preschool classes are provided for birth-age 2.
Volunteers
As a ministry volunteer, you will have a dramatic impact on the children you serve. Your relationship with them will represent the love of Christ. Because of this great responsibility before the Lord (James 3:1), we require all volunteers to complete a background check, meet specific qualifications, and expectations , be qualified, and we feel it is important to communicate to you the qualifications (add link) for volunteers, the expectations we have for you while being a volunteer, and the great blessings you can look forward to as a children’s ministry volunteer.
If you would like more information about becoming a Children's Ministry volunteer, contact Eddie Lee Brooks, our Children's Minister or Brooke Hartlage, Associate Children's Director.
